Post Feed Code Tips
Hey humans and zombies,

Giving you some good advice for feed codes, specifically dealing with readability and interpretability. If your Feed Code has any zero's, O's, 1's, I's, L's, 5's or S's, please distinguish them as such. All feed codes displayed on the website use the font above. If there are any questions as to what it is, you can always contact myself or the administrator.

All feed codes use capital letters, so please write them as such. For easy interpretability, mark zero's with a diagonal strikethrough. This will make O's and zero's distinguishable. Please cross your I's on the top and bottom, and mark the top of your 1's with a downward slash to the left. L's should have their tail. 5's and S's should be distinguishable by the flatness of the top of the 5 vs the curve of the S.

In the future I will revise the feed code algorithm to prevent some of these issues. If you get the message, "You are attempting to feed off of ." it means you have put it in wrong, or the code does not exist. If you try to put it in multiple ways and can't get it to work, contact me or Brian through PM's or through email, and we will help.

AND PLEASE, put names and emails on your feed codes. In the future, due to having seen so many feed codes without such useful information, I may just implement a method that zombies can report if a feed code does not have a corresponding name or email, and thus the person the feed code belongs to receives negative consequences in game (such as shorter starvation period) (note, I would have to have the approval of the HvZ admin to implement this). I don't like the idea of potential punishment as an incentive to add this info, but apparently being reminded doesn't work for everybody.

I'm kind of for that kind of thing, as I hate having to try to figure out what the code is and being unable to contact the person it belonged too. But thanks for stating this for everyone. Doing a great job!

I have a code that doesn't work. The player is Nick Wilkey. The code he texted me (because he didn't have them at the mission today) is: confidential.
