"Brass". "Copper". "CPVC"... Oh how easy it is to hide conversations about illicit substances.

When you all find Josh passed out in the morning with "brass" all around him...totally don't blame me :D

In related news, me and Brian Cappucci just finished painting our raiders in a very badass color of red and silver. I'm quite proud of the work Paige did 8-) Almost makes me actually want to use it now...

Aren't the Hospitallers going for gold paintjobs this year?

At one point that was the plan.

At this point it's sort of turned into "fuck it, whatever you've got that's awesome goes."

I think Red and Gold are the color orders for this semester. Of course, you're free to paint your own guns in whatever color you choose.

Me and Brian just finished painting our Raiders red and silver. They look mighty badass.

Odd, I was just considering doing my paint jobs in a deep red. Primarily because I may or may not be using a longshot, and the new yellow ones are painfully... yellow.

I might have to go with my backup colour. :P

I recommend using a brighter secondary color, as reds turn black in the blue of night.

I don't do total paintjobs, I just eliminate the yellow. The primary weapon in question would be a Recon, which doesn't have much yellow (and therefore not much red) to speak of. I had considered it being a problem for my Longshot, but I don't anticipate using the Longshot. I didn't figure it would be too much worse than the night blue stock colour Longshots, but meh. It's just an annoying yellow. XD

Anyway, I think a bright neon green alternative may not be a bad second choice. Now finding the appropriate paint and colour for plastic - that's the hard part. :P

The 100 dart Special Value pack is now gone. It's unfortunate, but true.

But is it truly unfortunate?
If you're still in the market for a Raider, keep your eyes peeled for this. While Raiders are on the shelves in their "standard" set, there are still 2 newer special value packs out there.

For starters, I saw one at Sam's Club today that was a Raider, 35 darts, drum clip, and flip-clip (2 standard clips and flip clip attachment) for $35.

I was ready to write a rave review of this new development stating that if you hadn't gotten a Raider already and still wanted it, this is an excellent reason to still consider doing so.... but then I went to Wal-Mart.

BE AWARE!!
Wal-Mart has a "Wal-Mart Exclusive" Special Value kit. It comes with a Raider, 70 darts, and TWO drum clips. I was wary, as it was separate from the other Raiders and didn't have a price attached to it. How much did this brilliant combo cost?
$29.00

If anything, this bargain is better than the first. For 6 bucks less, you're losing 30 darts but gaining a second ever-famed 35-clip. Don't you wish they'd released that first?
