Re: New Nerf Blasters Revealed! 8x6= 48 8x18= 144 so it takes 18s (naturally) now, how many 35s can be substituted in there? surely not all 8. So let's say every other, and then a 6-clip (We can't know how vialbe this is until actually physically holding one, I know, I know- I like to dream  ) 4x35=140 and then 4x6= 24. So, with a little labor, you could up the capacity by 20... maybe. I... like this... maybe I will start using streamlines for something...

Re: New Nerf Blasters Revealed! Honestly, the awkward design and heft might be balanced out by having all your ammo in your weapon at once, and the short reload time. I'm more interested than I was.

Re: New Nerf Blasters Revealed! Welp, looks like that first of August release date didn't exactly work out. Toys 'R Us is already selling the Retaliator online, as well as dart refills. Amazon is also selling it for $3 cheaper. People have already written up mod guides, too. So in case anyone was wondering, the up to 75ft. claim is up to snuff... if you angle it at 45 degrees. That being said, it's certainly not a disappointment, and it's a marked improvement from the previous N-Strike generation. Seeing as Nerf is essentially retooling all of their current N-Strike models to (supposedly) capitalize on high-range applications, the old models have essentially been superseded. It'll be interesting to see the Elite models become commonplace in HvZ, and the implications it has towards overall gameplay and tactics of both humans and zombies.
