Use the invitational interest topic to talk about the invitational, as this thread is locked, to preserve this chart. Those of you that want to be added can either click the colored name of a driver to PM the driver of a car you want to be added into, and make a commitment to a share of the gas expenses, or click the header of the "unseated passengers" section to PM the Coordinator about adding you as an interested passenger, after which time, drivers will PM you about being added to their cars. It is essential that we have all passengers matched with drivers, and that those cars are as full as we can get them, to make this trip cheaper on everybody. If you have any questions regarding the chart, PM me. Other questions regarding the trip and cars should go to the drivers, or the Committee chair.

General Rules for Cars:
1. Seats in cars are filled with the expectation that you are going to be sitting like that for an extended amount of time.
NOT like we are trying to see how many people we can get to IHOP in one car.
Drivers should factor for the presence of luggage, and assess their comfortable capacity from there.
2. Drivers should strive to fill their car to that comfortable capacity as seat prices shall be judged from there.
Raising the seat price in a car because of unfilled seats will require Expeditionary Committee approval,
to make sure that all seats are filled before we start springing additional charges on passengers
who have only budgeted so much for the trip.
3. The ranks of passengers are not just suggestive.
Nav should know the roads, and be able to handle things when a wrong turn is taken,
and should have the route, with all stops, more or less planned out in writing before departure.
Comm is the link with other cars, and should be willing and ready to make any calls necessary.
Relief should be willing and able to take over if the driver is unable to continue,
and should check in every so often to see if the driver needs a break.
Peanut Gallery should be making sure that people in the car are not at each others throats,
and be prepared to collect any trash, and dispose of it when the car stops.
4. Any Convoys need to planned ahead of time, and coordinated as well as any single car
to ensure the best experience for all involved.
5. Gas shares are decided according to the following formula=
(TANKSIZE*(TRIPDISTANCE/MPG)*GASRATE)/PASSENGERS
(keep in mind that all numbers are estimated. any variations may add to trip cost.)

And without further ado:

This Chart Lays out the detailed plans of cars in the 2012 WMU Expedition.
Cars are listed by driver, passengers have ranks as detailed in the key, and are scored according to payload size.
[Scaled from 1(a single standard backpack and nothing else) to 10 ("imma need the WHOLE trunk, and you bitches gonna have to carry shit in yo' laps")]
Click the driver of the Car you would like to be included in to PM them about adding you, or simply post your interest in this thread.
