I am going to delay the posting of officer applications just a little while, because I feel like it is important to ask you, the players, what qualities YOU want to see in officers. So this time around, YOU will be writing the application questions. Use last terms applications for Coordinator, HvZ Admin, Webmaster, and Dag admin, as well as the Constitution and bylaws, to help you think of things, and together we will put together an application that better addresses your best interests.
Post suggestions below of questions you would like to see answered by our candidates for Administrative Assistant, CtF Admin, and HvZ admin.
If your question is a general one that could apply to any officer, just post the question, and, if you desire, your reasoning. if it goes specifically to a certain office, Specify which one. this thread will be live until Thursday morning, about 6am, at which point I will take the best responses, combined with previous traditional questions, and post the applications for Offices.

"How will you fuck up the game?" Stealing that from all kinds of Mr. Bauman.

I'd suggest dropping the coding experience question from all non-webmaster questions. It's never really been relevant, or even a plus for the positions.

Agree with both of the above.

For administrative assistant, since it looks like it's a sort of treasurer position: "What experience do you have in finance or management of money?"

For HvZ admin: "What will you be looking for in moderators?" (I don't personally care that much, but this question is always asked at the seminars. Might as well get it out of the way in the application.)

For the rest, I generally feel the apps address what I want to know from the applicants already.

Fundraising ideas from all positions, especially Admin Assistant since that position deals partially with finances.

Games administrators need to describe special events they'd hold, and it would benefit them to describe how they'd bring these events about.

(Reasoning behind these questions: I'm just reading the requirments of positions in the new bylaws and pointing out what seems to not be emphasized now...)

The kind of game people hold is generally something that has been discussed at summit and//or folded into the question of "give us a sample training mission."

not games, events. For publicity, for player enjoyment outside the week-long or regular training missions... kind of hand-in-hand with fundraising, but more for new-player draw-in.

HvZ Admin:

*This position puts you in a spot where many may oppose, bash, and protest your decisions. How do you respond to being bitched out on a regular basis, and how do you plan to deal with an angry playerbase, should it occur?

*Many things can go wrong in a mission, and you may have to change things on the fly. How well would you be able to do this if necessary?

*Do you plan to make any changes to the current ruleset?

*What would you do for a Klondike Bar?

Finances are actually only a small part of what Administrative Assistant does.
