Post Time-Outs/Safety Word
All of the games that I play where there is some sort of Role-Play involved have a kind of safety word. In Dagorhir it is "kneel" this pauses all game play within ear shot. This can be called by anyone and only for serious occasions. With such a physically active game I think we should have a policy like this. So incase someone is hurt, they can get help and not have the help interfere with the game, and so the samaritan or the victim has no fear of being "bitten". Im sure if you shout at someone and explain that something is serious it would be no big deal, but sometimes there is not enough time and they might tag you before you can explain, and then expect you to feed them. Just a thought.

Don't we usually yell time or injury. That's what Ive seen happen so far. But an official word might not be a bad idea.

While I agree that this is a good idea, I would like to point out that this game isn't anywhere near as rough as Dag (and shouldn't be), so injuries are pretty easy to notice immediately. Also, I'd like to point out that while it is possible to play this as a RP, it is not necessary, and many of our players play it as a straight up game. (Just pointing it out so you realize not everyone is doing it.) That being said, having a specific way to flag down a mod is legit.

There are a series of unofficial words that have pretty commonly been used for this task.

"Time, Hold, Kneel, Stop, Injury" are just some of them. The response rate of both first responder players as well as administrations has been consistently high, with low confusion regarding the existence of an injury. I think the contingencies are fairly well covered.

Couldn't have said it better myself.
