This is an opportunity for me to express my thanks to the administrators and others who reviewed materials affecting their departments and who made helpful suggestions for the changes in this Handbook. 

Since this is the first on-line edition of the Handbook, I encourage you to continue to send your suggestions about this publication and any recommended changes to me or to the Assistant HR Director, Training and Development.  As appropriate, they will be incorporated in future updates.
