This workshop will focus on how to understand monthly and year-to-date financial accounting reports and use the new imaging system and settings. The presenters will explain the differences between a general ledger (gl) and sub ledger (sl) account and a fund balance and budget balance available. Additional topics to be discussed include procedures and proper accounting when completing journal vouchers, labor distribution entries, cash receipts vouchers, and intra-university sales/purchases. This workshop is intended for those new to university accounting, or for those desiring a general accounting overview.
