2009 Staff & Service Recognition Program News

An employee is eligible to retire upon working 10 or more years of creditable service and is at least 60 years of age or has 15 or more years of creditable service and is at least 50 years of age.  Anyone hired after August 1999 must be at least age 50 with a minimum of 15 years service.

 

Based on these guidelines, any staff or service employee considering retirement, and who wishes to be recognized at the 2009 staff or service personnel recognition programs, must contact the Office of Payroll and Employee Benefits and complete the necessary paperwork no later than Friday, January 30, 2009.  Employees registering for retirement after the January 30 deadline will be recognized at the 2010 recognition programs.
