Tenure-track position in analytical chemistry or related cross-disciplinary area available August 19, 2010. Responsibilities: teaching undergraduate and graduate classes in preferred discipline as well as teaching general chemistry; developing an active research program in an area that complements the department's existing research programs and involves undergraduate and graduate students.
Minimum qualifications: Ph.D. in chemistry or closely related area by August 19, 2010; evidence of potential for excellence in teaching; evidence of potential for excellence in research.
Preferred qualifications: postdoctoral research experience; teaching experience at the collegiate level (e.g., teaching assistant, instructor, assistant professor); research interests that focus on an area which complements the department's existing research programs.
