Tenure-track position available August 19, 2010. Responsibilities: teach graduate and undergraduate courses in psychology; remain current in and contribute to research in a specialty area; contribute to the service activities of the department and discipline.
Minimum qualifications: completed all requirements for a Ph.D. degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited training program by August 1, 2010; expertise to teach courses in the psychology major and demonstrated potential as a teacher-scholar.
Preferred qualifications: completed Ph.D. in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited training program; experience teaching undergraduate or graduate courses in clinical, counseling, and/or abnormal psychology as well as courses in any of the following areas—developmental psychology, psychology of women/gender, diversity issues in psychology, psychology of adjustment, and/or introductory psychology; interest in making significant contributions to the M.A. programs; research which has led to publication in refereed professional journals.
