Tenure-track position available August 19, 2010.
Responsibilities: teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, including guidance of graduate student M.A. theses; providing applied, student-centered field experiences in the United States; research; service.
Minimum qualifications: Ph.D. in anthropology by August 1, 2010, with a specialization in applied anthropology with a focus on American culture; demonstrated excellence in teaching with active research and publishing efforts.
Preferred qualifications: experience in museology, visual anthropology, business anthropology, anthropological linguistics, digital technology, race/ethnicity/class, environmental, economic development, post-socialism, and research in a second geographical region.
