Professional position available immediately.  Responsibilities:  plan, develop, direct, and coordinate fiscal management matters of the university, including operating and capital budgets; provide long-range financial planning and analysis; develop financial plans and supporting documents for state appropriation processes; support and assist the Vice President for Business Affairs and Treasurer with strategic planning, policy development and implementation, and operational issues associated with Business Affairs and university initiatives. 

Minimum qualifications: master's degree or higher in business administration, accounting, or finance; at least ten years of experience in financial management or budgeting, five of which should be in a college/university or similar setting; effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills; ability and willingness to work effectively with others and with limited supervision; demonstrated ability in the use of a spreadsheet software package operating on a personal computer.

Preferred qualifications: Ph.D. degree or other terminal degree; more than five years of experience in a college/university; supervisory experience.  Excellent benefits, including retiree health care and 100% pension contribution for eligible employees.
