Professional position available January 5, 2010. 

Responsibilities:  advise foreign students, visiting scholars and faculty, staff and their respective dependents; serve as Responsible Officer for J visa holders and Principal Designated Officer for F visa holders; coordinate international services for more than 500 international students and other international faculty and scholars; direct strategic planning, particularly in the area of student programming. 

Minimum qualifications: master's degree; at least one year of experience in higher education; must meet federal eligibility requirements for Responsible Officer and Designated School Official; supervisory experience;  ability to provide strategic planning and leadership; excellent communication skills.  

Preferred qualification:  work experience in a large, public university.

Salary range;  $48,000 to $50,000.
