Professional contract position available immediately. Responsibilities: oversee the work of programs across the campus and in the Teachers College that are a part of the National Council of Accreditation for Teacher Education (NCATE), other specific departmental program efforts such as the accreditation of the American Psychological Association, and college assessment related to the university's work for the Higher Learning Commission; serve as resource and work in collaboration with individual departments and faculty to provide requirement information; provide information regarding assessment strategies; demonstrate the system used for collecting and analyzing assessment data for program improvement and provide support; prepare accreditation and assessment reports in cooperation with other personnel.
Minimum qualifications: master's degree; one year of successful experience in accreditation and assessment work; knowledge of and experience with the assessment of electronic portfolios and analysis of student performance data; excellent verbal and written communications; ability to work independently; ability to work well with others; well organized.
Preferred qualifications: master's degree in business administration, education, technology, statistics, or other related field; background in assessment technology; evidence of completing successful accreditation and assessment reports; knowledge of NCATE and performance assessment in education.
