Assistant/Associate Professor: Mild Disabilities/Interventions, Department of Special Education
Tenure-track position available August 22, 2008. 

Responsibilities:   teaching undergraduate and graduate introductory, assessment, and methods courses related to mild disabilities/interventions; supervising practicum students and student teaching; advising students; conducting research.

Minimum qualifications:  earned doctorate or provide evidence of ABD status (doctorate must be completed by August 22, 2008); at least three years of public school teaching experience. 

Preferred qualifications:  earned doctorate with emphasis in special education; additional educational and/or professional experience in early childhood special education, deaf, autism, or severe/intense interventions; technology skills related to teaching and learning, including digital portfolios and online grading systems; evidence of scholarly productivity, including published articles, books, professional presentations, and related activities.
