Assistant Professor, Department of Educational Psychology

The Department of Educational Psychology (www.bsu.edu/edpsych) offers master's and doctoral programs in educational psychology and an APA/NASP-approved doctoral program and a NASP-approved master's/Ed.S program in school psychology, plus concentrations in research methods, measurement, development, and gifted studies.  At the undergraduate level, the department provides the developmental and educational psychology courses for the teacher preparation sequence, for the minor in human development, for the psychology concentration in elementary education, and the concentration in gifted education.   The university is a nationally recognized public institution located 50 miles from both Indianapolis and Ft. Wayne, providing educational psychology faculty with opportunities to engage in professional service activities, including consultation and research collaborations, in school districts across the state.

Assistant Professor/Statistics and Research Methods.  Tenure position available August 22, 2008.  Responsibilities:  teaching graduate courses in statistics and research methods and may include graduate and undergraduate courses in tests and measurement; working with graduate students in school and educational psychology; research and publication.  Research specialty open.  Opportunities for statistical consulting and research collaboration exist across campus.  

Minimum qualification: doctorate in research methods or statistics or related field of psychology by August 22, 2008. 

Preferred qualifications:  experience in statistical consultation; university teaching.  (Attention:  Dr. Holmes Finch)
