Assistant/Associate Professor, Department of Educational Leadership
The Department of Educational Leadership is a leader in delivering online coursework.  The entire master's degree leading to the principal's license is offered electronically.  The department sponsors four public school study councils that represent 95 school superintendents and 29 percent of the school corporations in the state.  For the past two years, the department has been ranked by Leadership Excellence as one of the nation's top 10 leadership development programs along with the University of Michigan, the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and other prestigious programs. Tenure-track position available immediately. 

Responsibilities:  teaching master's through doctoral level courses in educational administration (face-to-face, Internet, and television); serving on specialist and doctoral committees; conducting research resulting in publications; providing service to the field. 

Minimum qualifications:   earned doctorate in educational administration by December 31, 2008; holds or has held an administrative license for the principalship or superintendency; at least one year of successful administrative experience in a public school. 

Preferred qualifications:  university teaching experience; evidence of instructional leadership and record of scholarly productivity; knowledge and use of computer technology and its administrative applications.
