Biography

John Glen is the author of the award-winning Highlander: No Ordinary School, as well as numerous articles and reviews. Glen is a member of the Ball State University College of Sciences and Humanities Task Force on Teacher Education Reform, and is Editor of the International Journal of Social Education. He is general editor of the Indiana Archives Section of the Indiana Magazine of History. Glen currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Indiana Association of Historians and as a consultant on the Martin Luther King, Jr., Papers Project.  He is an Examination Leader for the Advanced Placement U.S. History Examination. Glen’s forthcoming publications include The War on Poverty in Appalachia and The Nationalization of Indiana: Since 1945.
