History Department Graduate Scholarship

Purpose and Amount of Assistance: Through the generosity of Richard and Dorothy Burkhardt the History Department is offering two $1,000 scholarships for graduate students who are pursuing either an M.A. in History or an M.A. in Social Science. Recipients may use funds in 2009-2010 to pay for tuition, fees, or other expenses of study.


Eligibility and Requirements: Application forms are available online on the History Department's website (www.bsu.edu/history) or from the History Department's main office, Burkhardt Building room 200. Students must submit the completed form to Dr. Bruce Geelhoed, Chair, Department of History, by Friday, February 20, 2009.


Selection and Notification: Decisions regarding selection of scholarships are made by the Honors, Scholarships, and Recognition Committee after careful evaluation of all applications. All Applicants will be notified as soon as possible of the Committee's decisions.
