Sorority Recruitment - Potential New Members' Bill of Rights
We think it's important you know what you are entitled to throughout the recruitment process.  The following Potential New Member's Bill of Rights was adopted unanimously at the 1989 National Panhellenic Conference Biennial Meeting and is still today presented to all women going through the recruitment process.  Should you have any questions at anytime, please ask you Panhellenic Counselor, or Pi Chi, as their job is to assist you with the recruitment process. 

You have the right to be treated an an individual.

You have the right to be fully informed anout the recruitment process.

You have the right to ask questions and receive true and objective answers from recruitment counselors and members.

You have the right to be treated with respect and the right to be treated as a capable and mature person without being patronized.

You have the right to ask how and why and recieve straight answers.

You have the right to have inviolable confidentiality when sharing information with recruitment counselors (Pi Chis and Panhellenic Council members).

You have the right to make informed choices without undue pressure from others.

You have the right to be fully informed about the binding agreements implicit in the preference card signing.

You have the right to make your own choice and decision and accept full responsibility for the results of that decision.

You have the right to have a positive, safe and enriching recuitment and membership experience.
