Welcome to the Ball State University Parent's Resource Page on Fraternity and Sorority Life!
The Office of Student Life wants to ensure that as parents you realize the benefits of fraternities and sororities, get answers to your questions and have access to available resources.

The Ball State University Greek community is comprised of over 1200 members belonging to 28 national and international fraternities and sororities.  With almost 100 years of tradition and history fraternities and sororities have contributed to the growth and development of Ball State students since 1919.

Below you will find links to available resources and advice from other parents as well as answers to frequently asked questions about Greek life.  If you have any questions regarding Greek life or your student's experience, please contact the Office of Student Life at 765-285-2621.

Parent's Frequently Asked Questions about Greek Life

"Our daughter was having a problem finding where she fit in at BSU and she was trying all the activities available but couldn't find where she fit in. We suggested trying the Greeks. She decided to take the plunge and has never looked back. It has been the BEST THING for her!! She has made great friends, been a part of some interesting experiences, been able to volunteer all she wanted and had support and love when she needed it."
