Basic Position Responsibilities
- Participate in the training program from August 15 to August 19, 2007.
- Participate in staff development programs of Student Life and the Division of Student Affairs.
- Submit a weekly report on the chapter, housing operations and scholarship issues to supervisor by 8:00 a.m. Monday mornings.
- Uphold all National, local and university policies.
- Act as a role model for students understanding that this position is a highly visible one on and off campus.
- To not engage in any inappropriate relationships with any undergraduate students.
- Advise the Theta Chi fraternity in all areas of housing and chapter operations. See fraternity live in graduate advisor job description for specific duties. (50%).
- Coordinate and evaluate the Greek 101 program (for new members) each semester along with the council membership development vice presidents. (15%)
- Develop a council and chapter officer training and transitioning program. (10%)
- Develop leadership resource informational sheets with campus programs (i.e. Student Life, Learning Center, Career Center, Counseling Center, EIL, etc.). (5%)
- Revise the Greek Leadership Manual and inventory and organize the leadership resource center. (5%)
- Assist with sorority recruitment. (5%)
- Serve as a facilitator at the Greek Leadership Summit. (5%)
- Create a GA transition binder and CD. (5%)
- Additional duties will be assigned based on interests and skills in particular areas.
