Basic Position Responsibilities
- Participate in the training program from August 15 to August 19, 2007.
- Participate in staff development programs of Student Life and the Division of Student Affairs.
- Submit a weekly report on the chapter, housing operations and scholarship issues to supervisor by 8:00 a.m. Monday mornings.
- Uphold all National, local and university policies.
- Act as a role model for students understanding that this position is a highly visible one on and off campus.
- To not engage in any inappropriate relationships with any Greek undergraduate students.
- Advise the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity in all areas of housing and chapter operations. See fraternity live in graduate advisor job description for specific duties. (50%)
- Advise the council PR chairs and oversee and evaluate the BSU Greek Marketing campaign, update the Greek life website and related pages and coordinate/update Greek calendar. (15%)
- Develop plan for implementation of new website content management program (5%).
- Coordinate efforts in terms of promotion during summer orientation. (10%)
- Produce and distribute a Parent and Greek Alumni Newsletter each semester. (5%)
- Assist with sorority formal recruitment. (5%)
- Serve as a facilitator at the Greek Leadership Summit. (5%)
- Create a GA transition binder and CD. (5%)
- Additional duties will be assigned based on interests and skills in particular areas.
