Basic Position Responsibilities
- Participate in the training program from August 15 to August 19, 2007.
- Participate in staff development programs of Student Life and the Division of Student Affairs.
- Submit a weekly report on the chapter, housing operations and scholarship issues to supervisor by 8:00 a.m. Monday mornings.
- Uphold all National, local and university policies.
- Act as a role model for students understanding that this position is a highly visible one on and off campus.
- To not engage in any inappropriate relationships with any undergraduate students.
- Co-advise the National Pan-Hellenic Council and its executive officers. This includes attending executive meetings, council meetings, and meeting with individual executive officers once per month. (45%)
- Assist the Assistant Vice President/Director in the implementation of faculty advisor training programs, including organizing training sessions and communicating with advisors. (15%)
- Co - advise the Greek Week Steering Committee. (15%)
- Co-advise Order of Omega. This includes attending general meetings, assisting with program planning, and helping in the coordination of membership selection. (5%)
- Assist in tracking student organization leadership and advisor information using the Student Life database. (5%)
- Review the Greek Excellence documents and participate in the Grand Chapter awards selection process. (5%)
- Serve as a facilitator at the Greek Leadership Summit. (5%)
- Serve as a committee member as a part of the evaluation and assessment schedule for the Student Life office. (5%)
- Additional duties as assigned based on interests and skill in particular areas.
