Basic Position Responsibilities
- Participate in the training program from August 15 to August 19, 2007.
- Participate in staff development programs of Student Life and the Division of Student Affairs.
- Submit a weekly report with project updates and staff meeting announcements to supervisor by 8:00 a.m. Monday mornings.
- Uphold all National, local and university policies.
- Act as a role model for students understanding that this position is a highly visible one on and off campus.
- To not engage in any inappropriate relationships with any Greek undergraduate students.
- Co-advise the Interfraternity Council and its executive officers, specifically the VP of Internal Affairs position. This includes attending weekly executive meetings, council meetings, officer roundtables and meeting with individual executive officers once a month. (25%)
- Coordinate and evaluate all expansion efforts of the IFC community and work with the Delta Sigma Phi colony on developing the organization to the point of being chartered. (15%)
- Work with IFC and Panhellenic councils on selection, training and development of judicial boards. Attend all council judicial hearings. (15%)
- Co-advise the Greek Week Steering Committee. (15%)
- Evaluate the IFC expansion & colonization process and establish guidelines for future expansion efforts. (10%)
- Coordinate registration and travel arrangements for Greek conferences, including MGCA and IGLC. Research ways to send more students to MGCA (5%)
- Serve as a facilitator at the Greek Leadership Summit. (5%)
- Review chapter Greek Excellence reports and participate in the Grand Chapter awards selection process. (5%)
- Create a GA transition binder and CD. (5%)
- Additional duties will be assigned based on interests and skills in particular areas.
