The Office of Student Life, in conjunction with student leaders and alumni, will outline organizational expectations and responsibilities for all fraternities and sororities resulting in increased chapter and member accountability.

What we're going to do:

• Reconstruct the awards program for fraternities and sororities to highlight individual and chapter achievement.

Progress

• An accreditation implementation team has been formed and will be responsible for developing an accreditation plan for all chapters and a corresponding awards program.   Click here to read the minutes. 
• The accreditation IT finalized the draft of the accreditation and awards program in April.  It has been reviewed by Student Life staff members and will be sent to chapters, advisors and national organizations in late May/early June for feedback.  A meeting will be held in the fall with all presidents and advisors to discuss the program.  It will be implemented in January 2009.
