Get Ready for Grad School

Once you've been admitted to the Graduate School and your desired program, here are some steps to help you get ready to begin Ball State graduate study:

1. Register for classes.

2. Pay tuition and fees. Your e-bill will be sent to your Ball State e-mail address from the Office of the Bursar and Loan Administration. You will not receive a paper bill. To view your account and make payments, use Ball State’s secure, online billing and payment site, Cardinal QuickPay.

3. Pay housing fees. If you are going to live in Ball State University housing, you must pay housing fees before you move in. Pay your deposit and, in the case of university apartments, first month’s rent to the Department of Housing and Residence Life. After that, you will receive bills and pay rent and other charges using Ball State’s secure, online billing and payment system, Cardinal QuickPay.

4. Get to know campus and the community.
