- Master of Arts (M.A.) in Career and Technical Education
Applied Opportunities
Unlike on-campus master's degrees, on-line programs enable students to directly apply their learning in their current jobs, while benefiting from exposure to a wide variety of their fellow students' job situations. Specific opportunities, such as an optional practicum in technology education for the elementary grades and an optional thesis allow for greater opportunities to apply learning.
Application/Admission Requirements
- Applicants must have earned a bachelor's degree in any area from an accredited institution.
- Applicants also must meet the Graduate School admission requirements.
- Although some universities that offer master's degrees in technology education require applicants to have earned a bachelor's degree in that field and have a teaching license; at Ball State, the bachelor's degree may be in any field.
- International students also must apply through the Rinker Center for International Programs.
Graduate Assistantships
Although this program is offered online, on-campus graduate assistantships are available. For information, contact the department.
