Graduate School
Accounting
Ball State University's accounting program is one of a few programs in Indiana to be separately accredited by the AACSB International. Nationally, it is among 17 percent of accounting programs that hold such AACSB accreditation. International public accounting firms and Fortune 100 companies recruit on campus each year, as do many regional and local CPA firms. The placement rate for graduates is excellent.

The 30-hour degree program:

  • fulfills the requirements to sit for the CPA examination.
  • is affordable compared to other programs in the Midwest and can be completed in one year.
  • features smaller classes, strong encouragement of student interaction, active student business organizations, a variety of courses, and professors with diverse backgrounds.

Degrees Offered

  • Master of Science (M.S.)

Applied Opportunities

  • Graduate students enjoy frequent opportunities to network with representatives of employers and guest speakers through student organizations.
