Graduate School
Certificate Program in Business Essentials

This Certificate Program is designed for those professionals who possess an undergraduate degree in a non-business discipline.  Professionals such as architects, engineers, scientists, nurses, journalists, and teachers may benefit from the program.  It will provide employees with the necessary educational tools to gain valuable business acumen, certain to complement their professional experiences.
Our program consists of four, graduate-level courses specifically designed to introduce professionals to a solid foundation of business knowledge.  Financial Accounting, Managing Organizational Behavior, Corporate Finance and Survey of Marketing will be offered once weekly during evening hours.  Two courses can be taken simultaneously with completion over a two-semester period.  Certificate completion results in twelve AACSB-recognized graduate-level credit hours, and a Ball State University, "Business Essentials Certificate". The program can be completed entirely through distance education for approximately $285 per credit hour.
