This exhibit will show the variety of graphic images (other than maps) that geologists make and use, such as:

Graphs of geologic data
Computer model results
Stratigraphic columns
Conceptual drawings ('cartoons')
Graphics will be evaluated for clarity of scientific communication, overall visual effects, and contribution to the diversity of graphic types in the exhibit.
Submit up to four examples of your own graphic work to Scott Rice-Snow, Department of Geology, ricesnow@bsu.edu. Paper submissions should be in duplicate, at approximate 8.5x11 in. exhibition scale (taller or wider paper sizes can be submitted for distinctive-format graphics such as stratigraphic columns and correlation diagrams). Good photocopies can be submitted for hand-drawn work. Digital submissions should not exceed 5 MB per email, and should be in commonly accessible image formats (such as JPEG). Please provide a brief, descriptive caption for each item, this should be separate from the image.
The Geologist's Eye is an annual series of exhibits exploring the ways that visual images (Photographs, graphics) are used in the geosciences.
