Wednesday, February 19, 2014 - 7:00pm in SC 303. Too often words such as race, nationality, and ethnicity are thrown around as if they are synonyms. Do you know the difference? If not, this workshop will explore those differences and help you identify your race, nationality, and ethnicity.
Disability Awareness: Common Attitudes and Feelings Toward Those with Disabilities  Yes
Monday, March 3, 2014 - 7:00pm in SC Cardinal Hall C. Many people have certain attitudes and feelings toward people with disabilities based on stereotypes portrayed in media. This workshop will highlight the realities of those living with disabilities and help participants identify and challenge their own attitudes toward people living with disabilities.

Wednesday, March 19, 2014 - 7:00pm in SC 303. Are you an activist? Do you want to become an activist? Activists are people who see the need for change and advocate for that change. This workshop will teach you how to use your own experiences and passions to influence others in your efforts to improve the world around us.

We all have an identity comprised of different components such as gender, religion, etc. Some of those components are controllable, while others are inherent. In this workshop, you will identify the components that define you as a person, and realize the ways in which your identity directly influences your environment.
