Friendship Family Student Application

Please complete this form if you are interested in being matched with a friendship family.

The Friendship Family Program at Ball State University exists to promote cross-cultural understanding and awareness by matching International student at BSU with a host family in the community. This serves the dual purpose of helping students adjust and learn about American culture, as well as introducing the friendship family to other cultures. The student is expected to maintain good communication with their friendship family and get together with them about once a month.

Please keep in mind that we receive a large number of student applications and a smaller number of family applications. There is a chance that you will not be matched or that it will not happen immediately. Please be patient and know that we are working hard to recruit new families.
