Teachers College Innovative Education Grant Online Form

Ball State Teachers College Alumni Society annually awards grant money to graduates of Teachers College or any other educator program at Ball State University who have an innovative idea they would like to implement in a school, classroom, or other area related to education.
Ball State Teachers College believes that educators in America's schools, colleges, and universities are critical to change in education practice. Innovation Grants provide an opportunity for educators in grades Pre-K-12 to develop and implement innovations that significantly improve student learning. The Alumni Association encourages unique or innovative programs, projects and activities which have the potential to improve classroom teaching, learning, and assessment using newly developed programs, materials, techniques, curricula, etc. to meet local classroom needs. Grant funds may be used for resource materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, software, and professional fees. Grant funds may also be used for professional development necessary to implement the innovative idea. Proposals which replicate already existing programs or curricula will not be given consideration for funding.

Grant applicants will be notified by the last Friday in July of the decision regarding their proposals.
