NREM Award of Merit

The nominee must be an NREM alumnus of Ball State who graduated no longer than 10 years prior to the year of recognition. The nominee should have already demonstrated notable success in a career related to NREM, and should be supportive of Ball State University, particularly the NREM Department.

NREM Award of Achievement

The nominee must be an alumnus of Ball State University (NREM major preferred). He or she must be in a position of responsibility, have a demonstrated history of success (promotions, awards, recognition) within the field of Natural Resources & Environmental Management, and be supportive of Ball State University, particularly the NREM Department.

NREM Award of Distinction

The nominee must hold a position of distinction in education, business, government, or academe with a demonstrated history of success in a field related to natural resources. He or she must have proven and demonstrated loyalty to the Ball State University Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Management. The nominee must also be a recognized civic leader who displays extraordinary service to humankind and a commitment to environmental quality.

Award nominations are accepted on an ongoing basis. Nominations must be received by January 1 to be considered for the following spring’s award presentation. If you have supporting materials (resume, press clippings, etc.) to submit, send a print out of this completed form along with the supporting materials to: NREM Alumni Awards Program, Alumni Association, Ball State University, Muncie, IN 47306-0075.
