Journalism Alumni Awards Online Nomination Form

Current members of the Journalism Alumni Board of Directors or the Ball State University Alumni Council should not receive the award until such time as their term(s) of service is complete.

Young Alumnus Award:

Nominee must be 35 years of age or under. Nominee must be a graduate of the journalism program. Nominee must be working in a journalism-related area. Nominee must have distinguished professional qualities.

Journalism Alumni Award:

Nominee must have either majored or minored in journalism or worked for student publications. Nominee must have established a distinguished career in some phase of journalism.

Journalism Hall of Fame:

Nominee must have either majored or minored in journalism, worked for student publications, or taught in the department. Nominee must have excelled in some phase of journalism, making the person worthy of induction. Nominee must have demonstrated a long-term commitment to the profession of journalism.
