You've probably heard and read a lot about pandemic influenza and avian flu in the news lately. Ball State University is aware of the impact an influenza pandemic could have on our campus. To prepare, a committee of university leaders has worked with local and county officials to create a coordinated operations and response plan.
We've also created this Web site to provide information and links about pandemic influenza and avian flu and give you some practical, common sense measures to reduce your risk of contracting the flu.
In the unlikely event of an influenza pandemic, this site, as well as the main Ball State home page, will be updated with the latest news and important information about university events and activities.
