RPMA members participate in "Run for Ronald"
The Residential Property Management Association (RPMA) was one of the top groups participating in the inaugural "Run for Ronald" 5k race recently held in Indianapolis. Several RPM faculty, students, and their friends participated in the event. The event was sponsored by the Indianapolis chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and raised over $15,000 for the Ronald McDonald House of Indiana. RPMA members are primarily Residential Property Management majors, minors, and graduate students, although any Ball State student may join. Faculty members Dr. Howard Campbell and Dr. Carla Earhart serve as co-advisers to RPMA.
The next RPMA event is the annual Student Housing Expo scheduled for November 1 in the Atrium of the Art and Journalism (AJ) Building. Ball State students will have the opportunity to view a variety of housing options for the coming school year. Representatives from area apartment communities and rental houses, as well as campus housing, will be on hand to talk with students. For more information about the Student Housing Expo contact Mindy Green, student chairperson for the event (msgreen@bsu.edu).
