Katie Barnum has been selected as the 2007-08 Outstanding Graduate of the Residential Property Management Program. The selection is made by faculty in the RPM Program and is one of the highest honors a student can receive. 

This award is sponsored by the Indiana Apartment Association and provides complimentary registration for Katie to attend the full conference of the 2008 Indiana Apartment Association.

Katie amassed a number of honors and awards while pursuing her college degree.  She received several scholarships, including the Marianne Glick Scholarship and the RPM Senior Scholarship. As the RPM Senior Scholar Katie served as the student representative to the RPM Advisory Board and Curriculum Committee.  Additionally, Katie was selected to attend the 2007 Indiana Apartment Association conference. 

As part of her academic training at Ball State, Katie earned the National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP) and Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) designations. She also completed an internship in Baltimore with Southern Management Corporation. In her senior year she served as president of the RPMA student organization.

Katie has been accepted into a graduate program at Cleveland State University where she will further her education, combining her interests in urban planning and multi-family housing.
