The Department of Family and Consumer Sciences recently announced the recipients of Graduate Merit Fellowships – Natasha Suttle of Richmond IN, and Sara Wehrli of Ft. Wayne IN. Selection is based on high academic credentials of first year graduate students and their ability to contribute to department goals. Each student will receive a $1500 stipend.
Natasha Suttle received her undergraduate degree from Ball State University in May 2008, earning a major in Marketing with a minor in Residential Property Management. While completing her undergraduate degree she served as a leasing consultant at College Park University Estates, as well as a student assistant to the RPM Program. She is currently completing an RPM internship in the Marketing department of Buckingham Management Company in Indianapolis. She will begin graduate-level coursework in RPM in fall semester, where she will also serve as a graduate assistant to the RPM Program.
Sara Wehrli also earned her Bachelor’s degree from Ball State in May 2008, with a major in Interior Design and a minor in Residential Property Management. As an undergraduate she worked as a leasing consultant in Carmel IN with Barrett and Stokely, Inc. Sara will begin graduate-level coursework in the RPM Program in fall semester, where will also serve as a graduate assistant to the RPM Program. She is currently completing an RPM internship with Sheehan Property Management, dividing her time between new construction in Westfield IN and an established apartment community in Indianapolis.
