GRAHAM KERR TO DISH UP PUBLIC LECTURE AT BALL STATE (Muncie StarPress 4/27/09)

MUNCIE -- Internationally known culinary and television personality Graham Kerr will share his message about wellness and health during presentations Wednesday and Thursday at Ball State University.

As a motivational speaker, Kerr focuses on helping people make healthy and creative lifestyle changes. His life goal is to help convert harmful habits into resources that heal.

Kerr will discuss "Food as Medicine" on Wednesday as part of the university's 2009 John P. McGovern Lecture Series. The presentation, free and open to the public, begins at 7 p.m. in the Ball State Alumni Center Assembly Hall.

He also will attend a cooking demonstration April 30 in Allegre Restaurant with students from a class taught by Deanna Pucciarelli, assistant professor of family and consumer sciences.

Kerr's visit to Ball State is sponsored by the Department of Physiology and Health Science.
