The Graduate Student Advisory Board (GSAB) is a group of elected graduate students from each of the seven areas of study. GSAB serves as a liaison between graduate students and faculty and as peer support for students.

GSAB is dedicated to the advancement of professional development, scholarship, and fellowship through various activities and programs, such as:

  • Panel discussions on subjects of interest to graduate students (conference presentations, vitae, job searches)

  • Providing guidance to potential and new graduate students

  • Coordinating Faculty Forum

  • Penscape (an evening of readings by graduate students)

  • Fundraising activities, such as the Pre-Finals Bake Sale
