Drums have existed since time immemorial, and their sound never fails to stir people, whatever their age, language, or origin. Based on the thousand-year Asuka village and with the musical instrument Wadaiko as its core, Yamato looks for new expressions in drumming. Since its formation 12 years ago, Yamato has played to more than a million people, giving more than a thousand performances in more than 20 different countries.
