If a student has a problem in a particular elementary education course, the first step is to talk with the instructor of the course. If this discussion fails to resolve the problem, the student should make an appointment to talk with the chair of the Elementary Education Department. In almost every case, one of these steps leads to resolution of the problem. However, if the problem remains unresolved, the University Catalog outlines additional steps the student may take.
