Ubiquitous Computing
Ubiqitous computing is the idea of computers being everywhere at the same time.
In the article by The Concord Consortium, "Will Ubiquitous Computing Improve Education?" is an example of the state of Maine supplying computers to 34,000 7th and 8th grade students. The idea is for a majority of the students to have access to computers in order to improve their learning. Furthermore, the idea also embraces the idea of accessability through all economic and learning levels. The playing field is equalized, thus allowing students to have the same benefits of the same software. Another example of this is closer to home in the concept of Digital Middletown.
