Join us as we take a trip to the "Home in Space" - The International Space Station (ISS). During this electronic field trip, students wilil meet engineers, scientists, and astronauts who have played an important role in the development and continuing research on the ISS.
Together with a team of scientists, students, and teachers at Space Center Houston, your classroom will be tranformed into a Space Station Activity Compartment. Students will also be taken behind the scenes at the Johnson Space Center. Learn what happens from the time the astronauts wake up in the morning to the time they go to sleep.
As a part of the electronic field trip experience, students will be able to see how an ISS compartment is designed, constructed, launched, and installed. Students will also learn how astronauts are trained to use and maintain the module.
