Gotta have more EFT content!
You’ve watched the broadcast. You’ve explored the website. You’ve done every lesson plan you can get your hands on. What more is there? Well, you’re in luck! There is yet another resource available for EFT enthusiasts – Webisodes! Kind of a funny name, but it makes sense. These are smaller “episodes” of our live broadcasts that are presented on the “web.” Get it? “Webisodes!”

For each Electronic Field Trip we will gather some of the fun stories, interesting people, unique destinations and hidden treasures that don’t always make it into the other EFT materials you are accustomed to using. We’ve lifted the rules this time, so while our creativity shines in each Webisode there are endless ways in which to use them in your classroom. Now, how does one get these Webisodes? We’re glad you asked.

Click to watch webisodes

1) On our website

See that big box just to the right of here? It says "Click to Watch!" Well, you've guessed it, that is the button you click on to watch the Webisodes on our website. You'll be taken to an easy-to-use video player that floats in the middle of your screen with a wide variety of options. Do you want to watch the most recently published Webisode? Click on the button for “New.” Do you want to find all of the Webisodes for a specific EFT? Click on the button the corresponds to that EFT. Do you want to see a list of all the Webisodes that have been created this year? That’s as easy guessed it… clicking a button. But, you don't have to use this website to watch your favorite Webisodes, you can also see them...

2) On iTunes

The iTunes software available for free from Apple is a very easy way to stay up-to-date on the Webisode world. Here is how iTunes works..

First, you can download your free copy of iTunes from Apple. This software works on a Mac or a PC. Usually this software is used to organize and buy music, but you can also use it to get other content, like Webisodes.

Once the software is installed, you need to find the page for the Electronic Field Trip Webisodes. Your computer may ask you if you want to “Launch Application” after you click that link. Say “Yes” or “OK” and iTunes will automatically open to the Webisodes page.

The third step is to watch the Webisodes. The bottom half of the screen will list all of the Webisodes that have been created so far. Just double-click on one of them, and it will start playing in a video window on the left-hand side of the screen. Don’t worry, if the video is too small, just click on it to open a new, larger window.

Now that you are hooked on Webisodes, you can also set up a Subscription. Subscriptions are absolutely free and easy to set up. You’ll find a button on the Webisodes page that says “Subscription.” Click this button, tell iTunes that you are sure you want to subscribe, and you are set. When you select “Podcasts” on the left side of the screen, you will see the Electronic Field Trip Webisodes. When a new Webisode is published, you can go to the Podcasts section in iTunes and it will be there waiting for you to watch. No need to keep subscribing or surfing around lots of websites.
