The secondary education program prepares you to teach in senior high, junior high, and middle schools. You will complete general studies requirements, required courses in your subject area, and a series of professional education courses.For admission to Teaching Curriculum, you must have:
- Earned grades of C or better in EDSEC 150 and EDMUL 205
- Earned a minimum of 45 credit hours with an overall grade-point average of at least 2.5
- Passed all sections of the PPST (Pre-Professional Skills Test)
You must receive Admission to Teaching Curriculum before you may register for 300- or 400-level classes. To receive Admission to Teaching Curriculum go to TC 829.
