These programs have assisted more than 125 doctoral graduates, and hundreds more master's degree graduates since 1981 to work effectively with adult professionals in a variety of contexts, including higher education, business, industry, health care, government, community, social and religious organizations. The Masters program in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education is a nationally rated program that prepares students to assume roles in student affairs, residential life, and many other higher education areas.
The programs make applied knowledge useful, integrate the concept of research as practice, prepare individuals for careers, and develop a strong commitment to lifelong learning. Graduates become informed professionals, enlightened community leaders, competent educators and effective researchers.
